Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to this RS Group website. RS Group is a freight brokerage headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. It describes the information we collect when you visit the site or contact us through it, why we collect it, and how you can reach us with a privacy question. It does not cover any third-party website we may link to (such as a carrier's tracking portal or an external careers page) — those sites have their own policies.

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for payment information on this site.

When you contact us or request a quote

Our contact form and freight-quote form ask for the details we need to respond and to price your freight. Depending on the form, that can include:

  • Your name and company, so we know who we're helping;
  • Your email address and phone number, so we can reply;
  • Shipment details you provide — origin and destination ZIP codes, service type, freight description, dimensions, weight and target pickup date;
  • Anything else you write in the message field.

You decide how much to share. Only name, company, email and a freight description are required on the quote form; the rest simply helps us quote faster.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to:

  • Respond to your question and prepare a competitive freight quote;
  • Follow up about your shipment or your inquiry;
  • Arrange the freight services you ask for; and
  • Keep ordinary business records of the work we do for you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We use it to do the job you contacted us about.

How your submission is delivered and protected

When you submit a form, your details are delivered to our team by email so a real person can act on them. To keep automated spam and abusive bots off our forms, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-respecting anti-bot check. Turnstile processes a token to distinguish people from bots; it is not an advertising or profiling tool. Our website is served by Cloudflare, which processes the request in order to deliver the page and run the form.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it runs no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. We don't build a profile of you as you browse. The only third-party connection any page makes is the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot check described above, and only on pages that carry a form.

Text messages (SMS)

If you provide a mobile number and agree to receive text messages from RS Group, we may text you about your quote, your shipment, or your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Consenting to texts is never a condition of getting a quote or using our services. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for help. We do not sell or share mobile numbers with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share information with

To move your freight, we may share the details necessary to do so with the carriers and partners handling your shipment — for example, a carrier needs the pickup and delivery information to run the load. We also rely on trusted service providers (such as our email and website hosting providers) to operate the site and deliver your messages; they may process your information only to provide those services to us. We may disclose information if the law requires it. Beyond that, we don't share your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep the information you send us for as long as we need it to respond to you, provide the services you asked for, and maintain ordinary business and legal records. When we no longer need it, we dispose of it. If you'd like us to remove information you sent, just ask (see below) and we'll take care of it, except where we're required to keep a record.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you've provided, or ask a question about how we handle it — just reach out using the contact details below and we'll help. You can also opt out of text messages at any time as described above.

Children's privacy

This is a business-to-business freight site and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
